Just finished reading "Born Standing Up" which is an autobiography of Steve Martin's career as a comic and it's absolutely a great read. I'd definitely recommend it! To be honest I had it book on mp3 and even more I would recommend that as well, Steve Martin has an amazing way of putting cadence in his stories that... add to it? With much bitching and moaning I wrote about 1700 words today. I'm at about 178,009k which means I have 21,991 words to go before December 31st to meet my "Get Your Words Out" goal. 1221 words per day. It's possible but um... who knows? I've already beaten last year by almost 15k which is an accomplishment in and of itself. But I'm rambling. Man am ( Read more... )

It's 9:38 (when I start this) and I have 386 words written and I highly doubt anymore are coming. Why you ask? Well, multiple reasons. The little boy I work with has possible pneumonia and so I was with him all afternoon and he was miserable and hot and slept a lot and broke my heart. Today has been a better day! I got to hang out with a friend and her ADORABLE SON tonight. OMG. He had this hat on that I wanted to squish his cheeks the entire time. We're in Yuma visiting Timm's family and after four years of the water torture that is no internet + being a night person married to a guy with morning people in his blood I was gifted with wireless.
